Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr along with Caroline Sharon and Jim, first made their appearance in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr is Irish singer-songwriter musician. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was awarded to her, as well as being well-known as the leader of The Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock band The Corrs. She sings and plays a variety of instruments with The Corrs. Andrea made her acting debut in 1991. In the following years, she developed into an accomplished musician and performer on stage. Singer for the playback in 1998's Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Six studio albums, two compilation albums, two live albums and one remix album to her credit Andrea has truly established herself as an artist with a variety of talents. Also, she has received the recognition she deserves for her work with charities. Andrea's stockbroker husband as well as two children are hers. Andrea began music lessons learning the tin flute. Gerry introduced Andrea to the keyboard. Andrea is also an musician on the ukulele. She spent her entire teenage life honing and perfecting her singing skills. She practiced with her siblings before eventually gaining the title of the lead singer of the group. Andrea participated in many plays in the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
